Information on a label
A label can include the assembly mark, project reference, QR code, quantity, weight and main profile, according to the selected format and available project data. Keep the mark easy to read.
Connect the object to Fabbim
Scanning the QR code identifies the assembly and opens its information. In the appropriate workflow, the identified object can then be associated with a truck, a status change or a receiving action.
Printing with Zebra equipment
The existing printing workflow uses Zebra equipment. Check the printer, connection and label format used by your team before preparing a batch of labels.
Printing procedure
- Select the assembly in Fabbim.
- Check the mark and project.
- Open the label printing action.
- Connect the appropriate printer and send the label.
- Attach it to the correct assembly and test the QR code.
Use labels in the workshop
Label identified assemblies at a suitable stage of fabrication. Their marks and QR codes support storage organization, loading preparation and subsequent scans.
Use labels on site
At delivery, readable labels help the team identify the assemblies and confirm receiving. Keep the label accessible until the operations requiring identification are completed.
Good practice
Choose a label material appropriate to the handling conditions. Place it visibly, keep the QR code unobstructed and verify that the printed information matches the assembly.
Keep physical and digital identification consistent
A label is useful only when it identifies the correct object and remains readable. Include the label check in the printing and handling routine.
